Right To The Void - Lūnātĭo [EP]

Wormholedeath / Aural / The Orchard

Released: 17-11-2017

From France, Right To The Void is inspired by many different music styles. From death to thrash through Swedish metal, the band plays a modern, incisive and melodic metal. The band released its first EP It Has To Be Done recorded by Rakan Musics in 2010 and played a lot of shows in France: sharing the stage with Napalm Death, Immolation, As They Burn, E-Force and many more…

In 2012 the band signs with the international label Wormholedeath for its first album Kingdom Of Vanity, released in 2013. In 2014 the quintet goes back to the studio and records its second album Light Of The Fallen Gods with the same team to give an outstanding mixture of brutality and melody.

1. Lines

2. 3.474

3. Let The Ruins Fall

Since the release of this album, the band toured all over Europe and never stopped writing new material for an upcoming EP named Lūnātĭo. Out in November 2017, this release begins an EP trilogy and a new direction for the band.

Lūnātĭo is an incredibly heavy EP. Either you like it or you absolutely dislike the music. Fortunately for me, I LOVED IT! The way they mixed several metal genres into each other makes Right To The Void an unique blend of different sounds. I really like the spoken part on the end of 3.474 (track 2), it sounds very creepy and eerie. Overall the EP is very polished and I can’t find a negative point anywhere, except that I don’t have it as a physical CD in my collection. I give Lūnātĭo a 5 out of 5!
